The IMM Match Weight for the Heckler & Koch VP9 is now in stock at Brown Bear Gear. This compensator looks really nice. I wasnt planning to keep one on my VP9, but after seeing it up close, my plans just changed. It fits pretty flush on the frame and looks surprisingly fine on my FDE frame.

Just picked up my VP9 today and was looking to purchase this as well.
Do I need a longer barrel to be able to run this Match Weight? If I do, where would I find one and order one? Id love to be able to order this item, just want to make sure I have all my ducks aligned first!

Currently there are just a handful of options for extended VP9 barrels. EFK Firedragon has an Extended Ported or Threaded barrel. HKparts and Silencerco both offer Threaded barrels. You can run the weight without an extended barrel, but cleaning will be tougher. It is also possible if you shoot cheap ammo that has something mixed in with the gunpowder or some bad gunpowder that doesn’t burn it will kind of sandblast some of the finish from the inside of the weight.
Im going to call EFK this week and check on their interest in making full length barrels for the P30L and VP9.
