Ran the Boberg XR9s through a 6 stage IDPA match today during some unusually warm weather for March. Still using the Yellow Box Remington UMC 115gr ammo from the last match. 150 rounds without a single issue.
During the last cleaning, I took a little extra time cleaning the chamber with a bronze brush. The standard back and forth stroke of cleaning the barrel doesn’t seem to get the spot where the chamber and the rifling meet, so i added rotating the brush when it was in the chamber.
The Boberg remains as accurate as it has always been. I keep hitting higher than I expect because I’m used to the dead hold on sight picture on my HK p30. But that is user error, not an issue with the handgun.
